THE SWISS ABSINTHE FROM 1935

La Clandestine Verte

The Artemisia distillery was the first to bring a green absinthe tinted with natural plants onto the Swiss market.

Experience

The first Verte Suisse made in the Val-de-Travers in 100 years.

More herbaceous than La Clandestine Blanche whilst containing more subtle aniseed tones, it reveals a powerful grand wormwood flavour accompanied by a multitude of aromas which testify to the quality of the botanicals used.

How to enjoy it?

For the perfect serve, slowly add 4 to 5 parts iced water (optionally over a sugar cube) and watch the natural ingredients provide its characteristic green hue. La Clandestine Verte’s balanced and robust flavour makes it a versatile ingredient in cocktails, adding depth and character to classic cocktails such as the Sazerac and Morning Glory Fizz and contemporary mixes such as Absinthe Colada and Absinthe Negroni.
